Volt is immediately hiring for a Medical Device Assembler at Plymouth, MN

As a Medical Device Assembler , you will be responsible for:

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assemble, inspect, repair, and test medical devices and components
• Follow standardized work instructions, SOPs, and safety guidelines
• Accurately complete manufacturing, traveler, and quality documentation
• Maintain traceability of parts and materials
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Communicate effectively with manufacturing supervisors and management
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude with internal teams and external visitors (tours)
• Participate in setting and tracking individual and team performance metrics
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory requirements

This is a Full-Time Contract opportunity.

Schedule:

Shift: 1 st Shift – 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM

The Ideal Candidate should have:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic computer skills and experience using electronic data collection systems
• Ability to handle small components and perform repetitive tasks
• Manufacturing cleanroom or controlled production environment
• Manual dexterity for handling small parts and tools
• Must follow strict safety, gowning, and cleanliness requirements

Payrate Range* - $19–$20.24/hourly

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
