Credentialing Specialist (Onsite or Remote)

Why This Role Matters
In this role, you will play a critical part in expanding access to our laboratory services by securing in-network agreements with commercial insurers, Medicare, and Medicaid across multiple states. Your work directly impacts reimbursement success, operational growth, and our ability to deliver meaningful results to patients and providers.

What You’ll Do
• Lead end-to-end credentialing and enrollment efforts with commercial payers and Managed Medicaid plans across multiple states
• Prepare, submit, and manage initial and re-credentialing applications to establish and maintain in-network status
• Build and manage a centralized credentialing tracking system to ensure deadlines, renewals, and follow-ups are proactively managed
• Partner with internal stakeholders to support strategic growth initiatives and network expansion
• Conduct consistent follow-up with payers to accelerate application processing and approvals
• Review payer contracts for accuracy and alignment with CPT code reimbursement and negotiate rates when appropriate
• Ensure full compliance with payer requirements and all state and federal regulations
• Maintain exceptional accuracy in documentation, data management, and reporting
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of healthcare credentialing experience
• CPCS certification preferred
• Proven success credentialing across multiple states, ideally within a laboratory setting
• Strong analytical and research skills with advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and Adobe/Foxit
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and solve problems proactively
• Solid understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
• A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
